Helically corrugated special steel pipe with a helically-wound PE casing pipe whose ridges interlock with the corrugation of the special steel pipe. The corrugation geometry of the inner pipe produces a continuous all-round channel. Together with the longitudinal inner ridges of the outer pipe, this forms an area for the transport medium to flow away. This collecting area can also be used for a tightness test.
