An existing geothermal heat network was due to be expanded. The total length (forward and return flow) is 720m. The customer wanted copper to be used, firstly because temperatures of up to 100°C make plastic impossible, and secondly because a mix of different materials was not suitable.

Solution:

CALCOPPER® was used for the extension. The pre-insulated copper pipes can be laid flexibly, easily and quickly - and they withstand the temperatures as required.
